Cookie policy

I keep the use of browser storage on my website to a minimum. I do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or visitor analytics.

Remembering your acknowledgement

When you select “Understood” on my cookie notice, I save a small preference in your browser’s local storage. This remembers your acknowledgement so that the notice does not appear on every visit.

Storage name

harvey-cookie-notice

Stored value

understood

When I save it

Only after you select “Understood”.

How long it remains

Until you clear this website’s data in your browser, or your browser removes it.

I use this preference only to remember that the notice has been acknowledged. It stays in your browser and does not contain your name, contact details or message.

Managing storage

You can reopen my notice at any time using “Cookie notice” in the footer. This clears the saved acknowledgement until you select “Understood” again.

You can clear this website’s cookies and site data using your browser settings. This also removes the saved acknowledgement, so my notice will appear again. If your browser blocks local storage, you can still use my website; the notice may reappear on a later visit.

Other websites

I use ordinary links to maps and professional profiles. I do not embed their content or load their tracking tools on my pages. If you choose to follow a link, that website’s own cookie and privacy policies apply.
